Harold Jonas, PhD, LMHC, CAP is a recognized expert in the behavioral health industry, specializing in addictions.\u00a0 He creates innovative solutions for the individual, the provider and the systems of care. Over the past 35 years, his desire to be of service has led him toward developing healthcare business models aimed at successfully merging the helping profession with capital enterprises. His entrepreneurial interests led him to acquire a number of real estate properties for recovery residences and hospitality. In 1999, he conceptualized and developed\u00a0SOBER.COM<\/b>, the first comprehensive internet directory for the addiction community and profession. The success of\u00a0SOBER.COM<\/b>\u00a0allowed him to focus his expertise on creating apps for the health care industry.\u00a0SOBERSYSTEMS<\/b>, the mobile prototype evolving from expertise in addictions treatment, has been gaining market traction since October 2012. This innovative APP tracks and records client outcome data and is achieving its goal of increasing compliance and reducing recidivism. From that core platform came REMINDERZ<\/b>, the award-winning app designed for Patient Engagement in Clinical Trials. It is from this core that Dr. Jonas realized positive patient outcomes can be achieved through a Contingency Management model. Sobersystems added a Rewards component utilizing cryptocurrency as its basis.
